Key Sustainability Regulations

The Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) was proposed by the EU in February 2022. It will apply to large companies and requires them to identify, prevent, and mitigate adverse human rights and environmental impacts within their operations and supply chains. The directive aims to foster sustainable and responsible corporate behavior and to ensure accountability for human rights and environmental standards. The Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR) was adopted by the EU in November 2019 and applies from March 2021.
